This blog was created in lieu of working in the Mississippi Teacher Corps, a program that puts recent college grads (and others) into high-needs schools for two years as teachers, while providing a masters degree in education.

I graduated from Amherst College in 2008 after majoring in English with a creative writing concentration and Russian with a literary concentration.

As usual all I read is Russian literature. I cannot adequately express my devotion to that particular tradition, or my affection for it.
